We heard great things about the gelato here from an Italian equipment supplier, and we finally stopped by after finding out Laboratorio del Gelato closed in Hoboken! It definitely didn’t disappoint. Even though the pistachio flavor wasn't super pronounced (likely due to the challenge of sourcing authentic Italian ingredients), the texture was still rich and creamy. So glad we found a new go-to gelato spot in Hoboken!

Surprised by the 4.6 rating , should be higher. As an admitted gelato snob, this place keeps my tastebuds happy without the trip across the Atlantic.

The gelato and the pastries are so great, but the staff working unfortunately are not! I ordered Straciatella, and the staff instead gave me plain Vanilla. When I went back in thinking it was just a simple mistake and asked for the correct flavor, they said “oh we’re out of Straciatella, so we just decided to give you something else”.

Always walked by here wondering why there’s such a long line. Now I know why — the gelato is sooo delicious! I’ve tried pistachio, tiramisu, and speculoos so far, and I can’t wait to try all the flavors!

A cute cafe and gelato place in the heart of Hoboken. Lots of vegan and non-dairy options. They’ve got decent amount of seating indoors and a couple tables outdoor. Parking is a bummer because it’s not always easy to find parking around. The grande size of the gelato cup allows you to choose 3 flavors. I got the pistachio, stracciatella and the one with the biscoff. They top it off with a mini waffle cone which looks super cute overall. Also got a medium sized americano and that was okay-ish. The gelato however was super creamy and light at the same time. I’m so coming back for more.
